MOSAIC LAW, rooted in the ancient legal codes of the Hebrews as documented in the Torah, provides foundational ethical principles that have influenced the development of Western legal systems. While American law is primarily based on English common law and constitutional principles, many of its moral and ethical underpinnings can be traced back to Judeo-Christian values, including those found in Mosaic law.
