Becky Buhrke "The History Llama"

Becky Buhrke is a history teacher for middle and high school at a small international school in Hong Kong. She is currently the head of the history department.  She graduated from Pacific Union College with a BA in English and History. Her lessons focus on catering to different learning needs within the classroom while still making lessons that are engaging and fun. Many of her lessons are differentiated or can easily be adapted to meet the diverse needs of a classroom. Her favorite part about teaching is helping students connect history to their own lives and understand the importance of studying history as a subject.
