PRODUCT OVERVIEW
A fun classroom board game for virtual and in-person play! Students play in teams of two against another team of two and identify the spelling differences between Spanish and English cognates of school subjects. Players advance one space forward for each number of differences they find. They'd better be careful, though! Landing on a certain spot may push them back or propel them forward! Enjoy watching your students learn and collaborate with fierce competitive spirit! Great game for students of all ages (adults included)!

HOW TO PLAY
- Create groups of four (4) and split each group into teams of two (2-2).
- Each group will receive a game board, a pack of cards, a game die , and two (2) different-colored game pieces, one for each team.
- Ensure that students know the learning content and rules before beginning.
- The cards should be placed face down in the Tarjeta space.
- Students can flip a coin or roll the die to decide which team goes first.
- One person from each team will roll the die and select a card, which contains a subject + infinitive verb combination.
- Team members should collaborate then conjugate the verb in the Present Tense according to the subject. If the answer is CORRECT, the team will move their game piece the same the number of spaces forward as the number rolled . For example, if Equipo 1 rolls 5 and selects the card with Tú + Cantar, their answer should be (Tú) Cantas. If their answer is CORRECT, they will move FIVE (5) spaces forward. If their answer is INCORRECT, they will NOT move forward.
- Team members may take turns answering and/or moving the game die .
- OPTIONAL: You may allow team that roll 6 to get an extra turn for more fun.
- After playing in consecutive order, the first team to make it to the finish WINS!
NB: The game can be modified according to class size, grade, and proficiency level. E.g. You can add requirements for translation, complete sentences, etc.
