This Memorial Day Poppy Craft and Letter Writing activity is perfect for Memorial Day! At homeschool Holiday, we think writing letters to members of our Military is ALWAYS a good idea, not just around *military* remembrance days.

 The resource begins with a basic outline on writing letters to service men and women, but no information on WHAT organization to send them to.

A quick search online and you will find plenty.

Research carefully - they each have their own rules about names, addressed envelopes, dates, etc.

Some are even looking for cards service-people can send back home.

Find what works best for your home/classroom. There are several different writing templates you can use, including some color-your-own pages.

 You have many options on your "Poppy Craft" - I have included some samples of what we have done with them. There are color files for quicker - print and go as well as the black and white for color your own options. All sample crafts are created using the color, print and go option.
