Music Escape Room 2

Music Escape Room 2 is a fun and interactive way for your students to learn and interact with music concepts. Your students will have 30 minutes to complete three puzzles. The first is a Word Search that contains a hidden message. Students are given musical symbols instead of words, but they need to find the words in the puzzle. To help them, a poster is included as a reference. In Stage 2, students put together a puzzle and then read note names to answer a question. In Stage 3, students escape through a maze. To find their way out, they follow music dynamic symbols from very, very quiet to very, very loud. A poster is included as a reference for the students.

In addition to developing great teamwork skills, your students will practice:

1. identifying music symbols

2. identifying note names

3. arranging dynamics in ascending order

4. using musical context clues to put the jigsaw puzzle together
