Patricia Polacco Biography Scavenger Hunt

This is a little game that I have students play to find information about the author, Patricia Polacco as the introductory lesson to my annual Patricia Polacco Author Study.

I print out each page and spread the papers around the classroom.

Students work together in pairs to find all of the facts around the room, while writing down at least three facts.

I normally give students about 10 minutes to do this activity.

Then I bring all of the students back together to read the facts.
