PREWRITING SHAPES Fine Motor Cut and Paste Book

This Preschool to Kindergarten Shapes Book is perfect for teaching shapes while improving cutting and scissor skills: all needed to begin writing. This shapes book is a fun activity that students will proudly make and take home to family. Your students will love using scissors and glue to create this keepsake. You can choose from a colored version and give the student the added practice coloring. Saves ink too! Students will cut out shapes using a dot pattern (easiest) or a line pattern and then glue them in the book. Cutting and gluing strengthens the hand/finger muscles and promotes eye-hand coordination which is needed to write letters and numbers.
