Prime and Composite Numbers - Digital and Printable

Students will color in numbers on the Hundreds Chart using the fill color feature on Google Slides. They will be asked to find the first four prime numbers and color them red. Then to locate all of the composite numbers, they will count to find the multiples of 2, 3, 5, and 7 . The students will fill these boxes in yellow. What is left are the prime numbers under 100. They will color all of these red. Make sure they count to see if they have 25 red boxes. Remind them that 1 is not composite or prime. As you go through this lesson with the students let them know that when they are counting the multiples, they may find squares that are already filled in. This just means that this number has other factors besides the one they are counting.
