Description
Recently Updated!
Your students will love this real-world project that practices Ratios, Proportions, and Unit Rates by participating in a baking competition!
In this project, students will select one of three given dessert recipes. Each recipe only serves a small number of people - and we need to serve all of 7th grade (75 people)! Worked examples will guide students in using proportions to scale up the recipe. Then, unit rates and unit prices for their recipe will be calculated either by researching local grocery prices, or using the "shopping page" price list. No Prep - just print and go! This project took my students 3, 50-minute lessons to complete.
