Students are given a 7 document DBQ to use as a resource.
Activity Options include:
- Option 1 - Answer the comprehension and analysis questions on the documents
- Option 2 - Explain how Religion Impacted Egypt using the Graphic Organizers
- Option 3 -Complete the Agree/Disagree Activity
Lesson 2 - The Mummifications Process
Students are provided a reading and informational chart on the Mummification process
Activity Options Include:
- Option 1 - Put the steps of mummification in the correct order
- Option 2 - Complete the step-by-step organizer
- Option 3 - Explain the use of various tools in the mummifications process
- Option 4 - Complete the Mummification Process worksheet
Lesson 3 - Egyptian Gods & Goddesses
Students receive an information chart, or information cards on 10 different Egyptian Gods & Goddesses
Activity Options Include:
- Option 1 - Students summarize characteristics of different gods on the chart provided
- Option 2 - Using the worksheet students pick the god that they would pray to in that situation
- Option 3 - Students create a social hierarchy of gods using the organizer provided
