Description
In class we watch the award-winning film Selma, about Martin Luther King Jr, and the Civil Rights Movement. Instead of a typical movie question sheet (which is included here on pages 2-3 as a free bonus), I provide 4 research tasks, and allow students to choose 3 of them that most interest them. Choices include reading Dr. King's speech from Birmingham prison, finding inaccuracies of the film, and critical thinking about the Civil Rights Movement. Prints 3 per page, or can be displayed for students to copy down the tasks to save paper.
