Description
World Geography students will learn about the physical geography, history, and modern day life of South Asia (India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Maldives) with these resources. The PowerPoint (which can be printed and used as a gallery walk or stations) covers landforms, climate, animals, flags, and natural resources (it includes a note guide with multiple comprehension tasks and 2 mini projects). The next resource has a mini lesson on the Partition of India and various activities for students to get an overview of the region's history. They will then complete true/false/fix for the region's history and a one pager for the region's modern day. Lastly, there is a set of political and physical geography maps and an editable test. Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate. This would be great for a sub!
To recap, this includes:
--physical geography presentation
--political and physical geography map activity
--physical geography trading cards and cube project
--reading guide and Partition of India mini lesson
--history true/false/fix
--modern day one pager
