Description
Students will review 26 events from absolutism (absolute monarchs) with this timeline stations and map activity. They will first put together one timeline with 12 events and write academic identifications. They will then match 14 other events to their identification, expand on the identification, and put them in chronological order. The third station (or task) is image analysis and the final station (or task) is a map with 27 labels.
Sample timeline items include the execution of Charles I, Catherine the Great, the Peace of Westphalia, the Edict of Nantes, the start of the 30 Years' War, Louis XIV claims divine right, the War of Austrian Succession, and more!
Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate. This would be great for a sub if used as an individual or pairs packet!
