For the Activity, there are four different options to choose from:
Activity Option 1: Students answer the comprehension and analysis questions based on Document Set 1 and Document Set 2.
- Document Set 1 - Includes a primary source account from a peasant and 2 Propaganda Posters
- Document Set 2 - Includes the Land Reform Law of 1950 and 2 Propaganda Posters
Activity Option 2: Students answer the comprehension and analysis questions based on the 6 Document DBQ
Activity Option 3: On the chart provided, students use the 6-document DBQ to explain why the Chinese peasants would support communism
Activity Option 4: Using the 6-document DBQ, students decide whether they agree or disagree with each statement and explain why using examples/evidence from the documents
