For the Activity there are 4 different options. The First 3 options use either of 2 readings

Reading 1 – The Decline of Egypt (442 Words)
Reading 2 – Factors Leading to the Fall of Ancient Egypt (665 words)

Activity Option 1 – Students continue to fill out the Rise and Fall Organizer from earlier

Activity Option 2 – Students use either reading to categorize reasons for Egypt’s Decline into Environmental, Political, Economic, and Social reasons

Activity Option 3 – Using the worksheet provided, students make connections between reasons for Egypt’s rise, and its decline

Activity Option 4 - Using Information Cards outlining 4 reasons for decline (638 words) students use a worksheet to organize the different issues in the order they would most likely happen.
