These resources for the Roaring 1920s introduce the social trends, events, people, and more of the 1920s in US History, including but not limited to: Red Scare, immigration and nativism, flappers, prohibition, Al Capone, Wright Brothers, Lindbergh, Sacco and Vanzetti, the Harlem Renaissance, the Scopes Monkey Trial, and more! The resources are a combination of DBQs, primary source analysis resource with a mix of academic questions and creative tasks, point of view activities, primary source images to analyze with provided prompts, activities such as timelines, pamphlets, image and caption matching, true/false/fix, making trading cards and cubes, and more!
The PowerPoint (which includes a note guide) is not exhaustive so that students have additional topics to research for projects. Th answer keys/rubrics/points distributions are included where appropriate. Many of the activities would be great for a sub!
