Description

Students will review 20 events, documents, people, and more from the causes of the Texas Revolution and the Texas Revolution itself with this timeline stations and map activity. They will put together a timeline with 10 events and write academic identifications. They will then match 10 other events to their identification, expand on the identification, and put them in chronological order. The third station (or task) is image analysis and the final station (or task) is a map with 25 labels.

Sample timeline items include the Mier y Teran Report, Declaration of Independence, the Grass Fight, the Runaway Scrape, the Turtle Bayou Resolutions, the Battle of the Alamo, the Battle of San Jacinto, and more!

Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate. This would be great for a sub if used as an individual or pairs packet!  You might also be interested in this alternate review activity, the who, what, and when of the Texas Revolution.
