Turkey Riddle Bellringer--Proportions

This bellringer activity can be used as a no-prep warm-up, exit ticket, or math station activity to assess students' proficiency with mathematical proportions. Although it's a riddle about a turkey, it can be used any time of year. The teacher's guide provides a link to a Google spreadsheet with a riddle and 12 proportion problems and a complete answer key. As students insert the correct solutions, pieces of the riddle appear as if by magic. The pixel art format provides immediate feedback to the student about the accuracy of their solutions, with no correcting needed by the teacher.
