Valentine's Day Activities

There is something for everyone in this packet!

Valentine's Day Writing Activity-This resource consists of 6 different writing paper templates. Students can write/ list people, places, and/or things that they care about in the hearts. For younger students, teachers can write for them. A black flair pen would be best to use on the red puzzle heart. After making their lists, older students can choose a topic to use in their writing. This is very open ended with lots of options for students across grade levels. Hearts can be decorated as they choose.

Valentine's Day Cards-

 16 printable Valentine’s Day cards in 8 different designs. Eight cards have sentence frames to complete on the back and eight cards have writing lines on the back. Sentence frames include:

I like being your friend because______________________.

I think you're cool because__________________________.

You are really great at______________________________.

You are a good friend because_______________________.

Print out two-sided. Cut in ¼’s, and you are ready to go! Students can color them, write compliments to each other and give them out to classmates.

Valentine's Day Writing Booklets- 2 Valentine’s Day Booklets. Each booklet has the same sentence frame on each page. Students can write and draw about people, places, or things that they care about. Just print, cut in half, and staple together. I would love to hear how you used this resource in your classroom.

Valentine's Day Maze and Crossword Puzzle-Students can navigate the maze and help the bear reach the hearts. Also included is a simple crossword frame students can complete. There are 5 words related to Valentine's Day that will fit into the frames. A key is included. Then they can color the pictures.

Valentine's Day coloring Pages-42 different hearts students can color in various styles. Styles include: mazes, stained glass, mandalas, and more! Hearts can be used as decorations, on greeting cards, or as a Valentine greeting.
