The lesson begins with a warm up activity in which students estimate the odds of the British or the Colonists winning the war. Next pairs, will complete a fact sort as they determine who had the greatest advantage. The class will then read placards about the war and complete a matrix about the circumstances that helped or hurt the British or Colonists.
