This packet is designed to complement the holiday for January 11th -Write Your Name in Morse Code. It is also a wonderful Addition to Morse Code Day, April 27th. You can use it anytime- even for a filler when you have a Sub!

The first page contains a full size print out of Morse Code, and instructions for "writing messages". The "Write your Name in Morse Code" activity page contains everything learners need on one page for your learners to use to write their name and the date.
If you would like to really challenge your learners or if you have have older/advanced learners I suggest LISTENING to their name, the alphabet, common phrases, etc. in Morse Code and writing what they hear, the way Morse Code was intended to be used.

My students thought this was a cool activity.

Definitely a fun project! Mad and brilliant idea: When the kids are done with their work, I will have them practice their spelling words using morse code!

Write Your Name in Morse Code - Free
Great introduction to using Morse Code! Really enjoyed using it to teach my grandson about "early email", as he called it! Only thing I would recommend is adding an example to show how letters are separated in the words and how words are separated!
