1st Grade Comparing Numbers Spider Themed

Do you have students don't celebrate Halloween in your classroom, but you'd love to have some Halloween themed fun academically? No problem. This Spider Themed Comparing Numbers resource was created with all of your students in mind. Students will explore two-digit numbers in an engaging way. This resource allows students to look at numbers and determine whether they are greater than, less than, or equal. Your students will use the Spider Web Spin Around Spinner to spin two-digit numbers and compare them by circling the words is greater than, is less than or is equal to. This activity is differentiated. Spinners focus on numbers ranging from 8 -25, 26 - 95, and one spinner uses numbers and words. A recording sheet is provided. A Spider Comparing Numbers Cover Up game is an exciting way for your students to be engaged with this skill during your Math block. Counters are included. You will also receive a Web Shapes Interactive Notebook page that focuses on students writing numbers than are greater than or less than a given number.
