Description

This group of math review activities based on 2/22, Twos Day, and is wonderful for 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade. Use it this February, or any time you need a unique and entertaining way to practice addition, suntraction, multiplication, order of operations, data collection and analysis, perimeter, and area. These are organized with detailed teacher's guides for each activity, so they could be used any day you might need last minute sub plans. Just plan on having a math review day with the sub.

This activity includes:

-a teacher's guide that gives ideas for how to use the activities as a whole

-a teacher's guide for each of the 6 activities

Each one will take you step by step through the process of how to use each included activity. It will also tell you what you need to do for teacher prep and how to use the activity for a lesson

-Spinning with 22

This comes with 3 levels (addition, subtraction, and multiplication) for your kids to play and enjoy.

-22 squares

This hands on activity will help your students practice perimeter and challenges them to practice finding area too. One of the 2 student pages includes a QR code that links to a really entertaining video that teaches perimeter.

-Order of Operations poster

This is a poster that you can make individual copies of for your kids, or make and laminate a full color copy to put up in your classroom. This poster has a QR code with a link to my "Learn and Practice Order of Operations" video.

-6 sided die

This template to cut and tape or glue a 6 sided die is another way to make learing hands on and entertaining. This goes with the "Roll to 22" game.

-Roll to 22 game

There are 2 pages, directions and a score keeping page. This game helps kids practice computation, strategy, and order of operations. Leveled options are explained in the teacher's guide.

-Graphing with Candy

This 2 part activity has an easier version with gummi bears for kids to practice data organization and analysis with. The second part allows kids to interact and collect their own data before organizing and analyzing it.

-Making 2,222

Use the letters in the word two thousand two hundred twenty-two to make as many words as possible. Math vocabulary scores double points. Add your total score when time is up.

-Adding Jump Street

This activity comes with 4 pages. These pages contain 2 levels. Kids will form a basketball team of aliens that come to a sum of either 22 or 222.

These useful, ready to go, NON-WORKSHEET resources.
