2024 U.S. Presidential Election Electoral College Collaborative Poster
This collaborative poster is a great addition to any classroom that is talking about the Presidential Election. Each student is given a piece of the poster to color. While coloring, they will also research how the states shown on their piece of the poster have voted in the past. They will talk with their classmates and decide whether to make a state red (Republican) /blue (Democrat). They can do their own research or work together, but each class will have their own map that is predicting how the election results will go. There is also a blank map for students to use individually. It is a great discussion starter and your students will enjoy comparing their predictions with the final results.
When your students enter the room they are each given a piece of the poster, which they will color on and eventually piece together with the rest of their classmates.
Anytime we do these poster in class, my students get excited. They love to color and be able to express themselves artistically. Each hour when my students walk into the room they enjoy reading what the other classes have written. It is a very engaging piece of artwork that you can keep up all year long and reference frequently!
*Final Poster is 5x5, however there are extra pieces of the poster that can be printed off and placed around the border for classes that are larger than 25.
