Description
Would you be interested in applying for a job as a shark cage tester or an assistant on a time machine?
Your students will have a fun time reading the classified ads in The Daily Scoop to find new jobs, people seeking services, and items for sale.
Word problems can be challenging for many students. These 6 worksheets (36 word problems) will give your students a lot of practice solving one-step and multi-step word problems involving all 4 math operations with WHOLE NUMBERS.
Each word problem is missing some information/facts. To solve the word problems, students find the missing information on The Daily Scoop classified ad pages (2 pages). Use these worksheets throughout the year as you teach each math operation, as review worksheets, or test prep practice.
These worksheets are great for a partner activity.
