Description
Help your learners celebrate America with this fun and engaging craftivity! Kids of all ages will enjoy this 4th of July activity as they combine their creativity and patriotism. The first step in making this Independence Day mobile is choosing one of three unique designs to decorate. Learners can craft to their heart’s content and use a variety of art mediums to showcase their love for the red, white, and blue. Paint, glitter, markers, crayons . . . nothing is off limits! The second step in the process is to write the answers to a handful of questions about the birth of the United States of America. They’ll focus on the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHY, and WHERE of the 4thof July. Finally, they’ll answer HOW they celebrate their freedom. This is a great activity for the conclusion of an American History lesson about the Declaration of Independence and/or the Revolutionary War. Or use it simply to reinforce to your learners the reason the July 4th holiday exists and is so widely celebrated. Kids in summer school, homeschool, summer enrichment programs, and summer camp can all benefit from this patriotic craftivity. Assembly instructions are included for the mobile. An answer key for the questions is also provided.
