This is a game to play with the whole class to practice calculating probability of simple and compound independent events - aligned to 7th grade standards 7.SP.5, 7.SP.7, 7.SP.8
Includes:
•16 questions, with answers.
•Student answer sheet.
•Game board for any projector or interactive whiteboard.
Teacher Instructions:
•Split the class into teams. Students can take turns choosing the problems by clicking on a rectangle. Print slide 21 for students to do their work on.
•Clicking on a rectangle will take you to a problem.
•One click on a problem slide will make the answer appear.
•To go back to the game page (slide 4) click on “back” in the corner. The rectangle chosen will disappear, revealing part of the mystery picture – which is a picture of hippopotamus!
•You can click on the rectangles in any order. The slides are numbered so students know where to answer the problem on the answer sheet and for easier grading.
