Description
Students will watch and analyze a 6 minute video about Alexander the Great and the different points of view about his life and legacy by answering 27 questions and completing 2 creative tasks. The answers are included where appropriate and the video is from TedEd.
Sample questions include:
--Why was it noteworthy that he conquered Persia?
--What does the Gordian Knot anecdote demonstrate about Alexander the Great?
--Identify what the defense’s first objection is to.
--Does the Battle of Issus support Alexander ruling as his father or as his own person and why?
--Compare and contrast the ways Alexander the Great treated cities he conquered. Which way was the norm?
