This interdisciplinary project is great for Art or History class. It is EDITABLE, is NO PREP, has a GRADING RUBRIC, and is so much fun! It teaches: Historical and Cultural Understanding, Analytical and Critical Thinking, and Artistic Techniques and Aesthetics and more! Includes: Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Ancient China, Ancient Greece, Ancient Meso-America, Ancient India, and Rome Not only do students make their own artwork after having CONDUCTED RESEARCH, but they also work COLLABORATIVELY to organize and execute an art exhibit.
LENGTH OF PROJECT - This project can be done in 3 class days by having students create their artwork at home, or 2 weeks of class time.
