Description

AP Art History Calendar Pacing Guide

The AP Art History Course and Exam Description (CED) lays out which pieces of artwork you should teach in your class. However, while it groups pieces of artwork by region, it fails to group artworks based on theme. When I designed my AP Art History curriculum, I used the CED as a foundation to create lessons centered on themes (like religion or figures in power) in addition to units based on regions.

Take the stress away from creating a pacing guide! This AP Art History calendar pacing guide aligns with my curriculum. If you're considering purchasing my curriculum bundle, it's a great way to get an overview of what to expect in my classes. You can see what kinds of lessons are included and get a better idea of how I pace my classes.

Each class period includes the lesson title and the artworks covered in that lesson. Two versions are included—one designed for the traditional 50-minute class period and the other for block schedules. The calendar is color-coded by unit. The calendar counts both days and weeks to make planning easy for you. You can also modify the calendar as needed to accommodate your class's specific needs.
