APES Earth Systems QR Scavenger Hunt Activity

In this scavenger hunt students will get the opportunity to review the key terms from the Earth Systems unit in AP Environmental Science. Includes:

-The Coriolis Effect
-Layers of the atmosphere
-Soil composition
-Plate tectonics
-Ocean currents

Each group will start at a different card number and record the number on their answer sheet in the first row. The students will solve the question and then move around the room (or hallways) scanning QR codes on other cards until they find the card with their answer. They will then record the next card number on their answer sheet and begin solving the question. They will continue this process until all eighteen problems have been solved! If at any point they cannot find their answer, they should go back to the question and figure out what they did incorrectly.
