Beginner Violin is a program that teaches students skills and songs. Students learn one concept at a time. As students progress, they will learn more notes and be able to apply those pitches to whole notes, dotted half notes, half notes, quarter notes, and eighth notes. The musical concepts include up and down bows, forte, piano, staccato, trills, slurs, accents, syncopation, and harmony. In addition to the lessons and songs, this product includes violin fingering flashcards to help your students read music. Beginner Violin is best for Grade 5-6.
