Biography: Andrew Johnson

This biography of Andrew Johnson compares his personality with that of his predecessor, Abraham Lincoln, and focuses on his disputes with Congress over Reconstruction after the Civil War. These clashes between Johnson and Congress ultimately resulted in his impeachment in February 1868.
