Act II: Achievements in Academics (Booker T. Washington and George Washington Carver)
Act III: The Harlem Renaissance (Langston Hughes and Louis Armstrong)
Act IV: Trailblazers in Athletics (Jackie Robinson and Muhammed Ali)
Act V: The Civil Rights Movement (Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr.)
Each act includes discussion questions. There is a quiz for students at the conclusion of the play, as well as an extension activity in which students will create their own script!
