Description
Students will learn about, or review, Black History Month by answering 11 questions and completing a creative task after visiting up to 6 websites. The answers are included where appropriate and this would work for a sub!
Sample questions include:
--Why do you think it was on college campuses that this started evolving into a month long observance?
--Why do you think the pilots who became the Tuskegee Airmen were initially referred to as an experiment, as in the “Tuskegee Experiment?”
--Explain why simply sitting on a stool at a counter gave McCain a feeling he didn’t think he’d ever have again.
