Center Activities for Letter Sounds

This is a fun literacy center that will give your students a hands on practice with recognition of letters and sounds! What better fun can they get than this ice cream themed activities. This is a phonological resource that will help students to make connections between letter recognition and letter sounds.

This packet contains 3 sets of activities. You can also differentiate for your students with these activities. 

There is the Letter Trace should your student need the practice of forming letters. Then the students learning to recognize uppercase and lowercase letters can practice with the Letter Match. The Letter Match also includes pictures for those who are ready to identify beginning sounds. The third activity, Choices Mats, can be used as an independent activity. This set has students writing letters in the square spaces, then they match uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and the matching beginning sound picture.
