Now he sleeps on their beds, lets them dress him up in doll clothes, and laps up warm milk on chilly nights. But where does Charlie go during the day?

This ELA resource and activity unit includes a summary of book as well as suggested lessons to use during close reading and shared reading with class. It also includes extension activities to use comprehension strategies such as inferencing, predicting, discovering character and setting, and development of plot.

The unit includes extra activities to go along with discussion of the true meaning of the cat with two homes and how it relates to those students who have two homes as well.
