Description
This is by far my favorite unit that I've created. AND it comes with fillable pdf's perfect for digital learning
New high level (can be used for AP Government or modified for regular senior government) that includes high-interest power point files with hyperlinks, charts, news articles, video clips, primary source information, Supreme Court cases, that corresponds with a student workbook.
Included with each slide is an interactive activity.
This product contains the entire unit of information over the entire Civil Rights movement. From early segregationist policies of Plessy v Ferguson to the current issues in pay equity. Special attention is given to the following groups (African Americans, Women, Gay Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans,, Disabled Americans, and Latino Americans.
On their own, students will answer the questions, using video links, graphs, and the internet
The power point has over 70 slides. There are 7 worksheet / activities for your students. The slide show finishes with students being able to take a Kahoot review activity.
You can choose to use the presentation to guide you through a detailed lecture or use it as a flipped classroom.
I used it for both my Advanced Placement class as well as my regular American Government courses.
You won't regret it.
