For those of you who use the Notice & Note Signposts for Close Reading, this resource is for you! It provides tools for students to collect their “signposts” as they read. There are four activity/organization sheets for each of the six signposts, each varying in level. View images for example of the "Memory Moment" signpost. Also included are exit tickets and various logs to organize signposts that are gathered during reading. These materials can work in tandem with Reading and Writing Workshop minilessons. Reference slips can be used during student conferences as well.
