Communities Project - Urban, Suburban, Rural

Need a fun, hands-on project for your communities unit? Welcome to Peanutville! Students will be assigned a community (rural, urban, or suburban) and a specific area. They will use their creativity to create their community area on their plot of land. Each student will get a peanut person to decorate and place on their project, too! Put everyone's project together at the end to create Peanutville!

• Student Assignment sheet- this is a blank sheet to help you keep track of what each student is creating
• Student writing sheet to help them plan out their project
• Book cover and pages for each student to write about their community
• Display cards to give a snapshot of each student's projects as people view Peanutville
• Parent letter to send home explaining the project (this is a letter to send home only if you'd like students to complete the entire project at home)
