COMMUNITY HELPERS: READING PASSAGES & ACTIVITIES- 2ND/3RD GRADE

With lessons and reading passages, students will explore the roles and importance of various people in their community, such as firefighters, doctors, and teachers, through engaging reading passages. These passages will provide students with information about what each helper does and how they contribute to society. Following the readings, students can participate in activities like drawing their favorite community helper, role-playing different jobs, or creating a class book about the community helpers they learn about. These activities encourage both reading comprehension and creative thinking while helping students appreciate the people who support their community.
