Compare and Contrast Essay American History Ideals and Society 20th Century

This compare and contrast essay is given in my United States History class instead of a final. It is 8 pages in length with full instructions, a scoring guide, a peer-review requirements and form included, and a choice of six different decades, 5 American ideals, and 2 special areas of study for students to research.

The progression of American History comprises major changes of many varieties. Students will use your text and conduct research to compare and contrast two decades in American History.

35 points. I like this essay because it combined inquiry, gives suggestions for academic sources of research, and allows freedom, while still holding students to high standards.
