Composing and Decomposing Numbers in Google Slides™

Making (composing) and breaking apart (decomposing) numbers up to 120 in many different ways is an important component of number sense. The objective is 1.2B Use concrete and pictorial models to compose and decompose numbers up to 120 in more than one way. This is a Google Slides™ version (digital - for distance learning) of the unit. You will get a copy of all the documents into your Google Drive. You can use this product on Google Slides™, Google Classroom™, Microsoft One Drive™ & Google Slides™ App (iPad). I have used this activity with different manipulatives in the classroom but with this Google Slides version they will be using virtual base-ten blocks.

Included in this resource there are 4 sets with 10 pages each and 3 blank pages so that you can write your own numbers. The blank pages are labelled 2D (two-digit number), 3D (three-digit number), and 3DM (three digit multiple, since there are multiple ways to break the number, the sentence on the right side of the page is blank).
