Description

This literacy resource is a early literacy sight word / high frequency words resource in which beginning readers and families use a trifold, word list and flashcards to store, practice, and sort based on progression of learning.

This resource was designed and created to be a send home resource. Students should be given a trifold, word list and their flashcards to take home.

The directions for the families ask them to work with their child through the week/ time period specified. Indicate the date that that set should be returned.

The trifold is used to organize the cards into three stages of learning progression:

New/Unknown words
Familiar, but not mastered words
Mastered words.

✅Families can practice with their child throughout the week. Then on the final evening with that set, they will assess their child and test their knowledge of that set of sight words. Their trifold will then be turned in for the week. The data from the assessment can be used to determine the next set/level of words the student will receive.

Includes 9 Levels of Sight Words, with between 10-16 words per list, for Early Readers/Beginning readers ( Pre-K/ Kindergarten/1st grade level).
