Designing new Transportation: Tax & Commission Project

This is a fun creative project where your students can be very creative and show several skills. You can add several concepts if you want to make it a bigger project or keep it as simple as you want. Students will design a new type of transportation. They can create something thought to be impossible, but since it is their creation, it will exist. They must either build or draw their design, give it a reasonable price for what you get, list features, and make a poster with all their info. They will figure out the sales tax and total price it will cost including fees as well as the commission and total pay check with the salary the salesperson will receive. They will give a presentation, which is a sales pitch to try to convince others to want to buy their car. Includes handouts and rubrics that can be tweaked to fit your class and students.  The product contains all the information in a power point and a word document. You will be able to print out handouts of all directions for students, the features and math work pages, and 4 different rubrics you can use or edit to fit your style.
