There are 3 Different Activity Options. Each activity option is based on a 1050 word reading that has 8 different types of gladiators in it.

Option 1:Types of Gladiators Description Sheet - Students use the reading to identify the different types of gladiator based on the pictures and describe them. They can use the information from the reading, as well as analyze the pictures to determine advantages and disadvantages of each gladiator.

*To provide a further challenge, there is a reading without pictures of specific gladiators, so that students must match the description up to the picture

Option 2:Types Gladiators Battles Worksheet – Students use the reading and images to determine the advantages and disadvantages of each gladiator type and determine who would win for each “match” between different gladiators

Option 3:Types of Gladiators Question Sheet – Students use the reading to answer 12 thought questions about different types of gladiators
