Greetings! Practicing perfect makes perfect, and that was my intent when I designed this vocabulary review sheet for anatomy and physiology students learning about the digestive system. This full-page review sheet features the following sections.
Matching Part I Students will match the ensuing terms with their definitions – emulsification, ducts, incomplete protein, vitamin, basal metabolic rate (BMR), normal flora, calorie, mineral, nutrition, defecation, and complete protein.
Example Alignment Part II Students will align the following examples behind vitamin, mineral, or normal flora – A, Ca2+, E. lactobacillus, D, Na+, E, Fe2+, E. coli, Zn2+ and K.
Matching Part III Students will match the following terms with their definitions – villi, chyme, bolus, mastication, peristalsis, absorption, digestion, feces, sphincter, and rugae.
Write the Terms in the Correct Sequential Order Part IV Students will complete that task for the groups of words below.
- Feces, Bolus, Chyme, Food
- Esophageal peristalsis, Mastication, Absorption, Ingestion
- Transverse colon, Descending colon, Cecum, Ascending
