Unit 1 includes 5+ hours of classwork including:

-Lesson 1.1 students will write down the definition of "health" and the definition for each dimension of health, as well as answer personal reflection questions

-Lesson 1.2 - students will be given health scenarios and decide if the student is healthy or unhealthy, as well as design a backpack, bedroom, or locker with one thing from all 8 dimensions to show the student is healthy

-Lesson 1.3 - students will research 3 ways to improve their health in each of the 8 dimensions

-16-page workbook- worksheets can be used as standalone assignments, enrichment assignments, or as reinforcement activities!

-3 Skills based projects (rubrics included)
