Draw conclusions, generate and answer questions from graphs in Google Slides™

This resource is designed to help your students practice generating and answering questions and drawing conclusions using information from graphs. This is a Google Slides™ version (digital - for online learning) of the resource. The objective is 1.8C Draw conclusions and generate and answer questions using information from picture and bar-type graphs. There is a Google slides presentation (19 pages) where the objective is explained using horizontal/vertical bar and picture graphs. I’ve divided this objective into 2 parts, first the focus is on teaching my students how to generate a question (part1) and then we move on to drawing conclusions (part 2).

There are 2 sets of cards (generating questions & drawing conclusions) that your students will use to help them throughout the activities. Two sets of each part (generating and answering questions / drawing conclusions) are included as well.

The sets are:

★ Generating and answering questions - guided practice (3 pages).

★ Generating and answering questions - independent practice (6 pages).

★ Drawing conclusions - guided practice (3 pages).

★ Drawing conclusions - independent practice (6 pages).

These activities are great for small groups, whole groups, stations, centers, and even homework. Your students will get plenty of practice and master the objective in no time!!
