Drawing 101- Everything You Need To Teach Someone How to Draw!-Drawing Lesson

Everyone can learn to draw! This is my firm belief! As someone who wasn't "born with it" and had to learn how to draw, I am excellent at teaching "non drawers" and beginner art students how to draw. The key is to convince them that they can. Using techniques that I've learned along the way, I've perfected this Drawing 101 Unit for anyone to be able to teach students how to draw.

This unit is presented as a Power Point presentation ready to go. The only supplies needed are a pencil, an eraser, and paper. The unit has 4 drawing exercises that will baby step the beginner artist into a confident artist. This series of lessons are easy to use and don't require any extra preparation from you, the teacher.

These exercises are for beginner artists and focus on how to draw basic outline drawings. I have used this lesson with middle school and high school Art 1 students. It would also be easy to teach to elementary students. My students tell me, after this lesson that they didn't know they could draw, but now they can! As a teacher, its the best feeling ever!
